CLEARLY never had a semester like I did. I mean…I got B’s in all of my classes, so it literally did nothing to my overall GPA, but still. I’m just annoyed. And glad the semester and the job is over.

The YMCA hired me! I am now an assistant preschool teacher! (not quite as cool as a playologist, Wandleez, but it’s up there!)

Apparently they wanted to hire me right away, but they were waiting to get ahold of one of my references. It somehow slipped my mind that my boss, who was one of my references, was moving to Minneapolis, so the office number they were trying to reach her at wasn’t hers anymore.

But guys. I’ve got a job. An ACTUAL job. A job IN MY MAJOR. What?!

Still waiting on one more grade, which might pull me through, but…holy fuck.

I have never done as poorly in school as I have this semester. And I’m not one to blame anything or anyone but myself for my failures, but I really do blame my job for that. This past semester would have been so much easier without the hell I had to deal with on a daily basis.

I was already contemplating dropping out beforehand, because I may be forced out of my major if I can’t do my internship this summer (which is an entirely different bucket of bullshit that I don’t want to get in to). But if I failed this class, and I can’t do my internship this summer, well, what the fuck am I doing here?

I don’t know. I’m just so upset with life right now.
